Laboratory of Genotoxicology
The main research trends – ecotoxic effects of environmental pollution and ecological changes in freshwater and marine ecosystems. Assessment of genotoxic, cytotoxic and mutagenic effects of chemical compounds in aquatic organisms. Genotoxicity in marine and freshwater ecosystems. Peculiarities of ecotoxic effects and biodegradation of contaminants in microorganism communities of digestive tract of aquatic organism. Species and genera identification in PAH-degradation bacteria from digestive tract of aquatic organism using 16S rRNA sequencing methods.
